I need help with some clarification !

I always thought that internal linking lets say from page A to page B increases ranking for the keywords I link TO in this case keywords on the page B would get benefits.

But what I found on the internet yesterday was bit confused, it said "Increases your ranking for the keywords you link FROM" in this case page A gets benefits

Was I wrong all along???

Well actually the most popular Google ranking factor is backlinks and backlinks mean : A Link from Page "A" To page "B" that's a backlink to page "B" and not "A"

    hope this help

Not sure about that case. I see internal linking as a tool with dual purpose:

    a. Reduce Bounce rate and guide users to / trough the funnel
    b. Make the jobs for crawlers easier, and allow the linkjuice to flow trough easily.

In regard to case b. Ive seen examples on my sites, where, when using the exact keyword in title tag in the link, I managed to increase effects (serp standings) deep link pages somewhat better, than without the exact match in title tag. But might be a fluke

So what you are saying is if A.php is linked internal to B.php --linkjuice is going to B.php and B.php keywords benefit in ranking from internal linkjuice.
      Do I understand correctly?

you are confusing me with the php But if you have a "hyperlink" / internal link on your homepage (which in most cases has the most backlinks) to a deep link page - lets say a longtail targeting blog post, which has the exact longtail in anchor and title tag, the blog post is taking the benefits.

Good internal linking structure actually helps your overall ranking experience.

It's good for all your relevant page to have various internal link and keyword anchor.

Keywords on page B get all the benefits of the internal links.

Not much clearer than this. This is similar to linking to your page from anywhere online, the page getting linked to gets the benefit of being found in the SERPS for whatever the anchor text is and for having a link in the first place.

Yes, Internal linking is best way to get self backlinks for your site. But avoid to do spam in internal linking.

Think about what a normal mom blog looks like. She knows nothing about links, knows a few people in mom's groups but kills it in terms of images and writing. Knows nothing about SEO.

Does she link out to her friends and to other blogs she likes?

I need some advice ... does software that claims to create backlinks actually work? I know they get created but are they seen as bad and will actually downgrade my websites?

I heard that having 10 blogs in their own network could work (Private Blog Network) but you have to avoid each one pointing to each other.

Any advice would be welcome. Thanks.

This is just my personal opinion, having been burned by linking software a few times, I'd say they build unnatural looking links that I personally would avoid.

What I now mostly do for my SEO is post often (I try to do a 700 to 1000 word specialized, to the point article every two days at least, if I don't have time to do it every day). I make sure I place internal links in the article and whenever possible, I create my own 1-3 minute video I upload to YouTube and then embed in my article.

I also write an article with a URL link (NOT anchor text) to my artilce on HubPages and Ezinearticle, share it on FaceBook, pin a picture if I had it made to Pinterest (of course with a link to my article) and tweet about it on my Tweeter.

Of course I optimize the Title tag and Meta description tag, too.

This has for now helped my two brand new blogs to start slowly rushing to the top for their keywords (one semi-tough and one not so much). It's too early to tell but I have a feeling it's working. I will follow up in a month or so or when I see my sites on page 1 in Google (if it will happen, of course).

      My 2 cents.

I avoid all purchased links and rather encourage my readers to share the sites on their social networks.

If you create quality content, this system will work for sure. Ive recently worked on a TV stream webstie, which was one of a kind and highly regional (balkan countries), for the first 6 months nothing, not 100 visitors on the website, and in september 2014 it exploded and is still exploding. I dont do any OffSite SEO, but as soon as there is a handball, soccer game, I get a bunch of organic backlinks

SEMrush for germany (keep in mind it runs global)
