Youtube links are no-follow so that won't help your SEO in any way (I thought traffic behaviour would make a difference but it doesn't)
What about user-generated content? A commenting system would be nice.
You can also generate a lot of content about your game: a guide, some tricks, key ways of winning, I don't know, anything a gamer would search for and find useful.

You can do more Guest Posting and also Blog Commenting.

Youtube videos won't really help you with SEO but they sure can help you generate more traffic.

You should also create a blog section for your site and start creating related content. Use many long tail keywords and get backlinks from blog comments. This is a simple strategy that can get you some more free traffic.

I highly recommend you to only leave a comment on a blog that gets a good amount of daily traffic, and also make sure you are able to have a link back to your site.

Never heard of somebody ranked a flash game... If you are talking about the whole site or any page with flash games, it shouldn't be so hard as you can first go with Social Media sites (Facebook, Twitter, etc.). Then if people like your game, they would place a backlink to it and you could get some good backlinks! It's a good idea in the beginning, otherwise you can just do the same as every common website!

YouTube videos would send some traffic, but wouldn't help from an SEO standpoint. You need to get some link pyramids created and use web 2.0 sites for increasing links. Along with that, I could see the flash sites doing well on social networks too. Consider looking around and buying some status updates for extra traffic.

Flash games is irrelevant, has nothing to do with ranking pages.

I think we have tested almost everything with our websites and I must admit one of the best thing to be done is to create or sponsor flash games and spread them out on as many websites as you can.

think about an objective like this one:

1. 100 games created or sponsored
2. submit each of them on at least 500 websites
3. expect in return at least an average of 2 visitors PER MONTH from every website for every game

the total is:

100 games x 500 websites x 2 visitors per month = 100 000 unique visitors per month.

this formula is so damn real... even now when a lot of people/webmasters/game developers are afraid that flash is dissapearing day by day.

One of the best exponents of game arcades is "gamedesire" might be worth checking their backlink history and if and where possible try and get backlinks from the same sectors.

Like yukon said, its not the game your ranking its the page, so all the usual methods apply as it would ranking anything else.
