Sending social signals to backlinks

hello everyone!

I've been reading the last months that backlinks with traffic pass more authority, what do u think of this first?

If that is true, is also right that backlinks that gets social signals later are also worthy?

I've heard of services like this one Social Llama - Best Drip Fed Social Signals Service but my feelings are that maybe is just spending some money for nothing at all.

    Backlinks with traffic pass more authority not because they generate traffic but because such links normally exist on authority/high quality sites. As for social signals, they don't even help sites rank directly, so I don't think there's any benefit in building social signals to backlinks. Feel free to do your own tests.

    mmm that makes sense, maybe is too far away to say that google can check if a page in particular with a backlinks has interaction, but no doubt, the link will be stronger if it's in a quality page, who will also have traffic and social, but the link itself will be the important one from the page that comes from.

    From what I've been seeing from my testings, social signals is a waste of money sending to your backlinks. It doesn't do anything

    Lots of people have started doing pyramid-like structures on their backlinks. Not just with social signals, but with web 2.0, press release, blog comments..etc.. Obviously if there is a page which has a dofollow backlink on it going to your site, the more juice that page gets - the more it's going to pass over to you!
