#1 at yahoo not in the top #1000 on google

Haven't been in the SEO scene for a long time, off course you guys knows what's up



But i am just sitting here asking myself, how can i be #1 at yahoo a not even recognized by google?

  • Perhaps Google has not indexed your site, or it's been de-indexed.
  • It's a penalty of some type. No question in my mind.

    Do you have Webmaster Tools installed on the site?

  • That's normal, it's easy to rank in Yahoo and Bing with backlinks blasts
    Google is the real challenge
  • I see i should not be deindexed, Alexa rank is 1,184,692..

    But yeah it must be some kind of penalty, i have used a few online submitters :/
  • Alexa rank doesn't mean your site wasn't deindexed

    And you shouldn't be looking at Alexa rank anyways. It's a bogus ranking stat that's not accurate
