Is it possible to get ghost link-farmed and banned from Google?
- SEO |
Lately I have this huge paranoia that I might get link-farmed by competitors and banned from Google. Since 90% of my traffic consists of search results, it might get my business shut down.
Do you think that if I get link-farmed Google would ban me? I mean, I wouldn't be the first case they'd have to deal with, but my website is small, so it would be easier for them to ban it, than spend time reviewing it.
And in order to use the appeal program, you need to delete all those links, which is impossible if you get link-farmed by someone.
Did Google ever publicly deal with such problem before?
