Is there any benefit left of using RSS feeds for your content other than the backlinks you might get?

  • People still subscribe to it. People still use RSS to read. Nothing wrong with leaving it there.

  • Some people still use RSS readers and it doesn't hurt to have the icon on your blog. Although, I don't think RSS will ever really take off so in a sense, it is dying..

  • I've seen few years back there are lots of RSS feed sites, but now only few.If people are subscribing your feeds then you are gaining much more reputation on the internet.
RSS reader stats leads to generate some income from advertisers to show active readers on your blog.

  • As far as a mainstream way for people to connect to your site RSS may in fact be dead. However, RSS is still a popular method of grabbing content and many webmasters use RSS to grab extra content for their sidebars and blog post. By not having RSS available you miss opportunities to syndicate your content across the web and gain easy links and traffic. That being said I don't think it's worth it to submit to hundreds of RSS aggregators but a simple link to your feed can't hurt.
