i run site keyword-keyword.com and i want to publish new article: the best keyword keyword. how do you think will it be overoptimized in terms of url (example:keyword-keyword.com/the-best-keyword-keyword)

ps. someone suggested to publish article like : keyword-keyword.org/the-best and than changing the title of the post how i wanted... what do you think about it?
#search engine optimization #issue #overoptimized #url
  • Write a unique post for each url, and then you will know for sure which method works best.
Imo, method 2 will be the winner, but I have seen keyword-stuffed URLs ranking high, and have also seen a double keyword variation.com that used to dominate a particular health problem niche get annihilated by Big G.

    • I commonly run 3 keywords without a problem across the full url: domain + page, but they are not duplicated next to each other on the same level like you are considering - twice.

The page content should be more important, but IMHO I'd agree #2 is most likely to be the winner.

There are other SEO issues this could implicate. A spammy looking URL like you are proposing may have a lower CTR and thus lower ranking.

      .
  • The only problem I see you having is spammy looking urls, mainly because your domain has a dash in it and it isn't brandable. It won't stop you from ranking, though. But, as mentioned above, it might negatively impact your organic click-through rate.
  • You can try once example if you create a post with the best keyword then you can create the post with using word , how to choose best keyword like this don't repeat the same term again .
  • if you have a website , keyword-keyword.com and write an article about keywork-keyword , then , if the keywords is having high commercial intent , then you are at risk.

If you are planning to get some links with same keywords then you are at high risk of over optimization
