After reading a recent thread by xfactor on adsense I decided to take action. One very important theme in that thread was to use the tools you are comfortable with and wordpress is one of those for me. So I would like to start a list here with recomendations on the best wp templates to use for adsense. Thanks in advance for everyone's contributions.

I think any adsense wp theme you use should be good as long as you place your ads well, not too much of to disturb your visitor and not too little to be ignored.

I specially like the inline ads.

I would also advice you to sign up for an affiliate product related to your niche, you will make a bigger commission. Try Click Bank for this.

also Try CPA at azoogle.com for banner ads.

    Good Luck.

PS: I would be happy to send you some free themes I collected over time if you send me your email ids. ( I hope this is allowed here at the forum if no please ignore the offer)

  • I've tested many themes extensively and found BlueSense to be far and away the best CTR for Adsense.

I created a thread talking about it along with the link: http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...w-adsense.html

What kind of CTR do you see? I have a theme I made with artisteer that gives me 25-50% on niches that encourage clicks, 10% on sites that are informational, even 7.5% on a site that has totally irrelevant ads. Still tweaking it.

I recently tweaked a wordpress theme that looks exactly like John's (Xfactors) xsitepro site. If you'd like to know more, send a PM.

I'm right now installing it as a demo page so I'll be happy to show you a sample.

Actually, I may have to check with John first. Sorry.

I've created a theme that mimics yours John. But, I'm going to experiment and do split testing with a range of colors, etc. but keeping the structure the same. I agree, the big 336x280 block above the content seems to work best.

I did try other themes (before I made my own) and they worked well too.

I don't have xsitepro but I'd assume that the layout is limited, depending on the theme you pick I suppose, but that makes it easier for people too.

I've had good CTR with a couple different themes before I bought your book so I'd like to experiment which is probably a good thing.
