1. Can I verify my site with just Google Analytics or do I need to use the meta code from Google Webmaster Tools as well?
2. For Wordpress, do I need to add the code to each webpage or just on the seo settings widget once for the entire site?

    1. Just using your G analytics account is enough. It's literally a button press and your done.

    2. In WP, I add the code in the footer so it hits every page. No problems so far.

Awesome thanks. If I want to use Webmaster Tools, I would then need to verify it with the meta code too though right? Or can I just use google analytics UA code to give me access to GWT as well?

Also, when you say you include the code in the header or footer, do you insert it in an HTML code app or just paste it to the site and make the font color the same as the background so users don't see it only crawlers?

There are different ways like Meta insert, CNAME, File upload etc. to verify your site and once you verified you can remove those stuff if you want. Even in WP, verification code is not needed on every page (unlike tracking code) but if you need it you can put it in header or footer section of your theme.

Only once in Wordpress or just place the code in header of your theme, there is a plugin all that will do just place the id of your analytics and it will track everything.
