Hi warriors,

i am going to use FTP first time by today, and i don't know how to use it? What are the uses of it?

Kindly give me brief and clear advise or any reference How to use FTP in SEO for ON Page . what are the uses of FTP and how to use it ? What things i will take care of?

Looking for better advises.

    Hi Gaurav,

    The only time I use FTP is when needing to upload files to my web hosting (though you can also use cpanel to do this but FTP is handy when you have a lot of files to upload/download).

    You don't need FTP for SEO reasons. It won't help with SEO.

    FTP = File Transfer Protocol

    i.e. FTP transfers and/or deletes files and directories between a remote host (your computer) to a website hosting server (yours or someone else's) in both directions.

    Hosting with cPanel has FTP built-in but most people prefer to use a faster third party program like FileZilla, which is downloaded onto your PC, and then connected to a hosting account using its username and password.

    It has nothing to do with SEO.
