So am trying to rank for a specific keyword and i found out my competition is using come 3 different PR 2 domains to rank for 3 different keywords in country.

So hence forth, I've spent the last 24 hours looking for a pr4 or 5 domain related to niche
and finally Real Don Colone = godaddy made me an offer i couldn't refuse for £15.

Now i got the domain, i can find no back-links on Ahref, wayback machines shows me no history.
but the domain is 12 years old and shows PR4...

PLEASE GIVE ME SOME EXPERT ADVICE.

This is one reason why i love the warrior forum.

PR hasn't been updated in forever. There are many fake PR domains on there.

You should have checked the backlink profile first before buying. These listings and auctions are littered with high pr domains with zero backlinks.

If you see a high pr domain with a lot of views, but no bids even at £15, that should be your first warning sign.

If there's no links it's a PRnothing, also PR hasn't been updated in a year.

Does Wayback show a 301 or 302 redirect, If it does, you've been scammed by the seller If PR was a selling point.

it show 302 redirect and also i just reaserched HTTP 302 redirect

A 302 redirect is a temporary redirect. It passes 0% of link juice (ranking power) and, in most cases, should not be used.

DON'T THINK I BEEN SCAMMED EITHER.

i just checked out the 302 redirect page and it belong to a GIRL.
that can't be separated from her camera and she's a web designer.

it looks like this website was one of the aged domains passing her link-juice.
her current website has a PR3 and she looks kinda HOT and Spicy.

If the seller mentioned PR when selling the domain, a 302 redirect was a scam. If you bought the domain because you thought it had PR that's your fault for not doing any link research before buying.

You could have seen hot girls on the internet without buying domains.

          your 100% correct.
I made a rookie mistake, but at lease i know am on the right track,
          it was my fault actually
I don't mind losing £15 to learn as much i did today.

          Thanks very much yukon.

PR has lot less value in the past year + it hasn''t been updated for a while. You should check backlinks before you bought the domain and other domain metrics. Domain age and PR 4 don't mean nothing if other things are useless on domain.
