This is why Google banned my site

Hey Google,

I really, really don't like Google. I would
say more but this is a public forum.

Anyhow, I got this boiler plate explanation.
I do have a PBN and if they said my link were
not good, fine.

But my site (naesv.org) is not jibberish or
pure spam or scraped. I did use and reword
some Wikipedia stuff on 3 pages but the other
pages are original content and good content
at that. I also did not cloak except on some
affiliate product links

From Google:

If you see this message on the Manual Actions page,
it means that Google has detected that some of your
pages may be using techniques that are outside our
Webmaster Guidelines. The site appears to use aggressive
spam techniques such as automatically generated gibberish,
cloaking, scraping content from other websites, and/or
other repeated or egregious violations of Google's quality
guidelines. As a result, Google has applied a manual spam
action to the affected portions of your site. Actions that
affect your whole site are listed under Site-wide matches.
Actions that affect only part of your site and/or some
incoming links to your site are listed under Partial matches.

  • Google got it right. I just read the first few paragraphs on the home page and they do not say anything of substance. No searcher would want that in their search results as its simply not useful to them if they were searching for information on the topic. Looking around the rest of the site, I do not see anything that is actually useful to anyone. If the site had adsense, then this would be called a typical MFA site. Google simply do not believe that their users/searchers would be happy if they got your content in their search results. I agree.

    • They are not just talking about your sites. They are talking about your links too.

You have links coming in from Russian sites and all sorts of other spammed foreign sites.

They are probably not thrilled that you picked your domain just for the fact that it had some good links coming into it and not because you really wanted to build a site called the National Alliance for Energy, Supplements, and Vitamins. Good job though making those letters fit into something half decent.

The site originally was the National Alliance to End Sexual Violence.

I get what you were doing, but then you are going to blame Google for taking action against you? Come on. You knew you were gaming the system.

I hope you made some good money while it lasted, but please don't try to play the innocent victim card. You were far from innocent in this.

    • Hi cbpayne,

Totally disagree. Perhaps the home page is a bit weak but
there is plenty of useful content.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion.

  • Why are you complaining when you should be cloning that site on a new domain
  • You have just admitted that you have used a private blog network to generate links to your site. Google have a zero tolerance rule on PBN's. They even made this fact public when they took down My Blog Guest a while back.

The fact is - if you have been using PBN's then you cannot complain about getting found out.

  • I think the bad links profile is to blame. The content is not so bad if not of super quality. So basically forget this site and focus on building useful sites without trying to game search engine rankings.

    • it's so hard to read that text on your site.

you should change your font i bet your bounce rate is high

    • I found the word 'weight loss supplements' fourteen times in that article.

I know it's important to sprinkle your keyword in your article, but this is a bit overkill. Put yourself in the mind of an end user like me. When I'm after something like 'weight loss supplements' in this case, I understand the article I'm reading. Seeing the same phrase repeated would annoy me rather quickly.

To put it in perspective, paragraphs 5-7 have that phrase there around 8 times.

It also seems from what another poster mentioned, that site was previously built around ending sexual violence and built up a good link profile to it. That doesn't help either.

Google got it right man. Content matters. Domain and link profile also matter. Less is always more.

I've gotten a site un-banned before. Follow the recommendations google suggests to fix your website, then resubmit for reconsideration. G utilizes over 200+ factors when ranking a site, so tread carefully with how you build them.

      Good luck, man.

    • Hi Yukon,

True enough. I have some traction on Yahoo. And with
      Firefox using Yahoo, that helps.

See If You did not follow the rules and regulation of google then it is your mistake not the google..
  • The content on your site is very difficult to read. You don't need to go any further than the first sentence, "Top weight loss supplements for weight loss?" to see some of the problems with the content.

First off, that first sentence is NOT a sentence, nor is it a question. It's more of a basis statement, best used for a heading, but yet it's like you're asking a question. I didn't need to read any further to see where this content came from.

Taking your content, and rewriting it using proper grammar, punctuation and sentence structure may help. However, doing that on this domain may not improve your results.

I agree with Mike Friedman's post that "you were gaming the system". If you want to improve page rank on Google, it's best to follow Google's rules, and I'd probably start with the domain name.

  • I'm sorry you got penalized by Google, but you yourself admit to rewriting content, instead of writing something original and you also admit to link cloaking, even if only "on some affiliate product links". Not all rules are made to be broken.

    • Hi Slade,

I did rework content on 3 pages. The other 14 are all original
content. Tho' it seems that most think it really sucks!

      Anyhow............

  • That's just a generic message they send out. Doesn't necessarily mean that your onsite content was the issue. Like Mike said earlier, it is likely a result of your backlink profile.
  • This is bad news but what can we do if that's one of Google's rules. Since you admitted that you did some tweaks on your site which is I think is bad for your website then I guess you can't really blame Google for it. Also, I am not a writer and doesn't have perfect grammar but I see some errors especially on the quality of the content as some of the sentences doesn't have a meaning at all as Kindsvater pointed out. Hope we all learn from our mistakes and not commit it again. Goodluck!
  • Google sees what they want and dont see what they dont want, therefore you can amend trying hard while they send same fool email without making any sense,to be honest people I cant ratify this guy was gaming, who on the internet dont base his codes on someone else website, well the first to not do this cast the first stone

    He is a good warrior
  • Gone are the days that you can create these type of sites and believe you can rank with them or even stay indexed in Google. It was a gamble to rank in Google with what looks like a website/content from the around 2004/5, seriously, PLR hosted articles is what this site looks like.

Shake up the site, completely change the content to content that is awesome and do a resubmission.

If that fails then start again, but this time with the knowledge that gaming Google in this method is hit and miss and best to avoid and work smarter. Nothing wrong in using a PBN, but you got to do things better.
  • Ya, I told you so many times, Content is king and Relevancy are also very important
  • It looks to me you over did you're back linking. I see a PR6 for your website. For this content I think that is crazy. Many links have the anchor text: "National Alliance to End Sexual Violence" Perhaps that's one of the reasons?

Google has caught you in the act I think..............
  • I am not using Warrior much, but when I saw your post in email and read about it, so couldn't resist to help you @Sangroid. I will be direct and honest with you, and give some points. If you follow them as long as many other replays from other people, you might get back into game, understand how things works and update your old outdated IM/SEO software (I mean on your knowledge)

I can tell you that your site is pure shit/garbage. If there is few clicks report option in browser or google, I would so gladly report your site. You should know that to after reading how many people telling you same thing, but you are acting like a child. Child who try to lie parents, but parents know that child is lying, cause can't hide it. You are to old for that shit, so get serious, stop complaining & lying, and instead ask "Where did I go wrong" or go to https://productforums.google.com/for...ers/categories and people will help you. Like they already doing here in your post, but you are acting ignorant.

Anyway, this kind of site would maybe work 10 years ago. It's easy to notice that you was following some tutorials/methods with easy "created" content, bought expired domains , fast and shitty links, bad PBN and or some shitty clickbank products or similar. Maybe that is the reason why I don't visit often this forum, cause I always had in mind that is overloaded with bunch of quick, easy, dirty, blackhat, shitty posts and paid ebooks. Maybe that changed in recent years, and I know here is alot of people which know what is doing, doing right away and make profit.

@MikeFriedman Said everything correct, and it's easy to notice that without even checking backlink profile of your site.

Cause people already told you what to do, I will not tell u anything more. This replay should shake you up. You can even consider as a slap to wake you up.

Here is one useful link Panda - Daily News and Inspiration with good digs from quality and good sources. You should check Growth Hacker category and start read and follow the links. Read latest updates, technologies, techniques. And instead creating shitty sites for bots (google), create it for users first, they need to like and find use of ur content, and not just to write some garbage text and to expect something in return ? Thats how is not working my friend!

    Peace,

    Kinderjaje

    • Thanks for the post. It is foul but informative.

Obviously, if everyone thinks my site sucks, it must be so.

I actually did outsource the articles (all but 3) and spent a lot
of time and money on the site.

I am not going to screw around with trying to "fix it'. Don't have
      the time or money.

Done the road, I may outsource the SEO or just start over.

  • Google has become more and more smarter in recent times, instead of scraping and spinning artcles
its best to hire a writer to do it manually, it works out better in the long run.

    • I did outsource all but 3 of the pages.
  • It totally looks you made faults by using automatic tools to create content and links, why not remove tht whole content and start with fresh or hire a wrtier to have unique content.

  • my viewpoint
Try to Make your website More natural and clearn Moreover healpful to reader
it seems you are targeting a high volume keyword weight loss supplements

well my advice write simple content and try to write as you are advising the reader so they like it, when they like it they will share it. when people trust you they will buy from you
    Good luck

P.S . When you don''t rank you blame google. google doesn't make mistakes .
  • Blackhat tricks are easily noticed nowadays
    - Your content should be of high quality, unique, helpful and consistent. It should builds attention engagement and trust.
    - Optimize for 1 keyword per page but write for people not search. Your content is clearly for search not people.
    - Get few, high quality and relevant backlinks. You also missed on this one.

    Hope it helps
