Same domain different extension ranking.

Hi,

I have bought two domains, .com and .co.uk versions for my target keyword which I am looking to rank a website. WebsiteDesignLOCATION.com/.co.uk.

My question is - If I have the same website, which is using the same images, styling, files etc for both of these domains - will this affect ranking? Content will be different.

I'm looking to hog as many spots on the first page as possible.

  • Unless you copy the content, it shouldn't be any problem.. But it would be hard to rank them for the same keyword (and even no reason to try).. Better go locally. Co.Uk for the UK and stay there.. Build local backlinks while build other backlinks to your other .com website!
