      What a load of nonsense! The disavowed links are NOT remoeved from WMTs!
      All the disavow is doing is telling Google to treat the link as the equivalent of a "nofollow". It does not not remove the link!

    By disavowing the links, you will indeed be telling Google to stop taking them into consideration. It's what the definition of the word disavow literally means!

    So, by telling Google to ignore these links, you basically let Google know that you are aware that some "bad websites" are linking to you and you would like this to NOT count for link counting and ranking analysis.

    Absolutely not.

    I can tell you from experience, they will still be there for you to see, but just won't be being counted in Google's ranking algo any longer.
