Hello to all experts. I want to know which tasks i can perform in seo for higher ranking in search engine. Because Google launched many updates in 2014 - 2015. its create ti difficulties improve the ranking. Here is the below task i can Perform but not getting good result.

  3. blog
  4. Forum
  5. Pdf
  6. PPT
  7. classified

  • All tasks you can perform but the content you add for each task should be unique and attractive to call any visitors. I can say that Classifieds ad submission requires money to get good visitors.
  • The above mentioned task are the great task for doing seo for a particular website but the content whicg you would be going to post on those sites must be unique and relevant for the users. Also do Guest posting in the seo task.

    • Google changes daily as to what is best practice, it's only when the major updates kick in people take action.

      Keep everything white hat and add good content and you'll get there.
  • You need to be more specific. "Article", "blog" or "forum" are not descriptions of activity, they're just single nouns.

    • I was gonna say just that
      By article, do you mean writing articles on your website or something else?
      By blog, do you mean that you blog about something or do you mean leaving comments on various blogs to get backlinks and traffic?

  • I would go with tier1 Manual Backlinks and create some tier2 to power this..

    For example: web2.0 and article directories.

    PBN is very good for you rank too and don't need to create tiers..

    Article (if you mean article submission to directories, forget it, it's nearly useless now)
    blog (if you mean on your own site, sure, why not, just do it)
    Forum (only if it's relevant and ppl click through to your website as a result of being interested - if they really are and your bounce rate lowers while visiting time increases, it helps SEO)
    Pdf (little to no effect)
    PPT (little to no effect)
    classified (little to no effect)
    social media (if relevant social media channels are talking about you, definitely helps SEO)

    • Doesn't work that way. Google can't track the bounce rate from some random forum. Or they could if they used Analytics data, but that would be very unethical and they'd have no benefit in doing so.

      High bounce rate can indicate that your site or landing page is poor, or that your content is so good that the user left satisfied. Those are almost opposites! Or perhaps you're just running an ad that's successful in pulling customers in, but most just take a peek. Context is everything here.

      It doesn't "definitely" help SEO, but there's a change that your audience links back to you. Depends very much on the venue and the audience.
    • Well said. I agree what he (alvinchua91) said. The other thing I want to suggest is to go through your website On page optimization first. It includes checking targeted keywords, website title, meta description, meta keywords, heading tags, images alt tags etc. Your off page work will only be effective if website On page optimization is done in a right way.
      Adding targeted queries within website content and other areas is very important.,
      In Off page, You can add blogging also. you can create free blogs on websites like Wordpress and share useful and relevant content with users. The content can be informational and promotional as well.

    If do it by yourself research on off page seo or if you have not much time for this buy some off page seo packages.

  • The task which you are doing is good, but the content is very important.
    For Social media, increase the followers and increase the sharing on Social Media which definitely help you for ranking your site.

  • 1. Create some great content. Get some ideas from what your competitors are doing if you need to. Either write it yourself or source it out to a writer.

    2. Buy some expired domains of good quality, host them, put content on them, backlink to your website.

    That's it man. I just shortened your list from 8 things to do to 2 things to do. Now your 4 times more efficient.

  • You can ad guest blogging also will help you to get fresh traffic.
