Questions to ask SEO agency

I am considering hiring an SEO Company for my estate agency.

What questions should I be asking them to check their capability and ability to deliver? Any suggestions?

      I would disagree with that. The principles in ranking a local real estate website really are no different than ranking a local dentist office or accountant

    It depends on the following:

    - Do you already have a domain and existing online presence?
    - What exactly do you want this firm / agency / etc to accomplish for you?
    - Who are the 5 top players in your niche? if local be specific.
    - How long are you budgeted for and what are you able to invest monthly?

    If you cant answer those questions yet I would suggest think a bit deeper first. The reason why is simple if you dont have that ready no serious company will take you on without first adding the "babysitting package" on to your final tab. It may not be labeled that on a line item, but you can be sure hand holding costs extra.

    - Ask them the questions that people debate most about on warriorforum, if they can't give you a succinct answer to it, then they probably don't know what they're doing.

    - Ask them for their SEO methodologies (backlink, social media e.t.c.)

    - Ask them for past work, portfolio of sites they've helped improved and from which SERP to which SERP and within what period of time.

    SEO strategy is different in the Real Estate firm. Everyone real estate owner want to get quickly lead. So you need to do hire ORM(Online Reputation Management) expert. ORM is not a easy task but once you make a brand your firm. It is easy to get the business.

    First see if they have successfully ranked other real estate sites (ask for proof and check up to make sure their "proof" is legit).
    Then, ask them what are their techniques for ranking. (If they use any method that violates Google webmaster guidelines, then don't use them) And ask how long it will take to rank.

    If all is still good, then check their pricing.
    Before you buy, check out multiple SEO Companies. A Chinese proverb goes "Only buy after you have checked 4 similar shops" (ok maybe its not a proverb but that's what my gf said all the time)

    Honestly, I would just ask them for examples of past work they can share and maybe if they have any clients that would not mind talking to you about their experience.

    If you can talk to someone else they have worked with, that will probably give you the best information about whether or not you want to work with them.

    You can ask the following list of questions to the SEO Agency such as:
    1. SEO Experience in Real Estate Field
    2. Before this, have they done SEO work for any real estate,if so, then what is the status of those websites
    3. rate consumption and offers offered by the agency.
    4. Within how many days, the website will reach the first page of google
    5. For how many days or months it will be consistently in first page of search engine.
    6. Advantage of using their SEO Agency than others.

    Like this, you can ask so many questions to them. The above listed are only just few samples.
