Is anyone having good success with ranking Amazon product pages?

Me and a friend of mine are working together, and we are buying our own stock and private labeling products.

Iv seen some big names getting into this business model and some are ranking their product pages for good keywords.

Is anyone around here ranking their own product pages for good keywords and seeing success?

The good thing about Amazon is that the site has "so much" authority and Google does favor these kind of sites.

Also, the good thing about this model is that these sites can handing a high amount of backlinks which in turn would make you think it would be much, much easier to rank.

What are your thoughts?

    Look at some of the top niches, what do you see? Amazon Amazon Amazon. I know people who do this and are banking hard. With the right types of links and offers it can be extremely profitable but only if you have both of those 2.
