I just started yahoo (PPC) yesterday and have just one question.... I only have 1 campaign set up right now with 2 ad groups in it, my question is when i look at my impressions it says around 18,000 or so and 17,950 are all content match, only like 50 or so impressions are search, this doesn't seem right lol.. i'm not sure if i have something turned on that i shouldn't or vise versa. When i go through and look at all my settings it shows content and search both turned on!! Is this not what i want? Any help with this i would greatly appreciate.

Haven't used Yahoo search for awhile now but you'll get a lot more volume on content than with search. Not sure about that big of a descrepancy but those numbers seem entirely possible. Just make sure your bid is lower for content. Also your CTR will probably be much lower for content match also (content is where your ads are shown on other sites).

When I use content based PPC, I create a separate campaign. This way, I can track my CTR from my search based PPC campaign apart from my content based PPC campaign.

Like Brian, I don't use YSM as much as Adwords. But the principles are the same: separate search and content. So turn off the content setting and create a new campaign with only the content turned on.
