  • I presume you're asking, "If I changed my site from non-mobile friendly to mobile-friendly would it affect your SEO, and if so, would it affect is positively?"

    If so, answer is yes.

    • My site was mobile friendly but some option was not available their for that cause i am changing it with new design but no link will be changed all links will be same and content will be same also.
  • Depends. If by "changing design" you mean that some HTML is getting restructured or changed, you may experience changes from results because of that. However, it's impossible to know for sure.

If you want to help mobile users with responsive design that should only have a positive effect. Responsive design only deals with style sheets.

By changing your design some links will be broken so it may be effect on your ranking.
  • You are going inline with the google upcoming algorithmic change. The algorithm change going to reflect on coming 21st of April is going to have a drastic change in the rankings of web pages. You are in a good move. Don't worry, you will have a positive impact. At times you might see negative result. But there is nothing to panic. After a couple of weeks you will see positive result.

    Hello Raselbste,

If you are going to change the design of a website it will not affect your SEO so long as you keep your URL structure the same. You make sure that you use the same URL when implementing the new site. It is the URLS and the page content that has gained the Google trust and authority over the years and not the design itself.

If you are changing the type of code your site uses and just cannot keep the URL structure, then you need to make sure all of your older pages 301 redirect to their newer counterparts. 301 redirects will safely pass Page Rank from your older pages to the newer ones, and will enable you to maintain your Search Equity.

    • Yes and no. Yes, it's important to keep the current URLs, titles, headings and content. No, it's not limited to that. There's also HTML structure, internal links and other factors that may or may not affect the results. Even your new design itself may drive users away for some reason.
    • It depends on the changes you are going to make. The impact will be less. Responsive Web Design is very much essential these days. So it is a right move.
