Questions about Youtube & affiliate products

Hello everyone,

I have questions about youtube SEO.
I explain my case.

I own 20 youtube channels with 20 videos on each.
Every videos are 2 minutes long.

My videos deals with cat training tips and dog training tips for puppies.
An actor (from fiverr.com or odesk.com) make a short speech about "how to clean cats teeth" etc etc.
Then he says "to get more informations click the link below my video and enter your email".
People get into my list.

I collect more than 400 free leads per day and i make about $80 / $120 income per day in the back end.

I downloaded Brody Kazouris course "tube business training" because i wanted to know better about youtube SEO.
This course is great but i still have questions for you.

Sometimes i try to drive my viewers to Amazon instead of collecting their email.

But i want the affiliate link to be hidden from the visitor. I am also certain youtube decrease the ranking if it contains an affiliate link.

Do you think it is better to use https://bitly.com or tinyurl.com to shorten an affiliate link placed in my video descriptions?

Here is a Bark Control Collar sold on amazon.com

If i use https://bitly.com to shorten my url the link becomes Amazon.com : PetSafe Basic Bark Collar, PBC-102 : Barking Deterrent Collars : Pet Supplies
As you can notice youtube can see it is an affiliate link

If i use tinyurl.com youtube cannot suspect my tracked link.

Do you think this impact my ranking?

  • No, it should not impact your rankings because the links are nofollow. Doesn't matter which of them you're using.

    • nettiapina, i am not talking about ranking a website, i am talking about ranking my video on youtube search engine.

      As i said, i dowloaded brody kazouris course (you can download it for free, no need to pay for it ;-) i don't think i can post a link here. Try to search his name

      But this point was not clear and i don't know what Free URL redirection service i should use.

      I can tell you this is a crucial point for me. Tody i did $70 in my backend. I get free leads with my youtube videos.

      Do you have an advice for me?

  • If you continue to have problems you could consider purchasing a short, generic domain name (any name will do as long as it's short) and set up a redirect page.

    You can have any number of directories in it (short names such as abc1, abc2, etc) and an index.html page in each directory containing the redirect.

      I did that especially to allow outbounds link in annotations.

  • Why don't you use your own domain and 301 redirect?
    By the way, it is against youtube and amazon rules to use affiliate links in a description box below your video.
