Yeah, it is possible. You can get backlinks for each and every page of your site & also you can optimize them on-page wise.
And, about your url query it should be like abcd.com/about or abdc.com/contact etc.

Having a one page website with all such details are not always good when it comes to SEO.

By having a one page website you cannot do the following:
- You cannot target complete set of keywords
- You cannot match user intent
- As you need to include all your information in one page you cannot keep the page load to minimum
- You cannot easily track engagement
- One Page websites are usually not mobile friendly
- Cannot properly optimize OnSite SEO
- & Many other reasons..
