It is almost 1 week since my site is changing the positions every day. But most weird thing is that when i am checking google serp in the morning my site is not even in 300 results but when i check serp in the evening it appears on 72 position. Has anyone ever faced the saim problem ? do you know whats is goging on?

There really is no difference between #300 and #72. Both positions are equally useless.

There are two common reasons I see for this sort of thing:

    1) Personalized results. The site was never ranking as high as the person though in the first place.

    2) Dynamic home page. Almost always causes bounces.

"I've only seen this problem when a person has a site that Google doesn't like. " --> What a load of nonsense. Please do not answer if you don't know what you're talking about.

If Google doesn't like a site of course you would see that, but that doesn't mean it's ALWAYS the case.

Btw, OP, assuming you used in-cognito, non-personalized Google search and only did white hat methods, then it's Google dance. You're right. It's because Google's algorithm is working behind the scenes and sometimes show different results. Keep working on your off-site optimization and SEO strategies while perfecting your on-site optimization.

Very soon you will see solid results. The reason you're still seeing fluctuations is also because your site's authority is not fully there yet (to Google's algorithm) and it's sounds like a relatively new site still from the way you described.

Google dance might happens because of lesser backlinks. If you generate more and more quality backlinks then it will stay on SERP firmly.

I wonder why it is called Google Dance though its a normal scenario in SERP due to competition, personalized results, algorithm updates, and so on.

How can you generate more and more quality backlinks? Through what?

Your description makes it sound that there's a problem with your setup. I've not seen "dance" change the results in this way. That, or your description is inaccurate and based on a couple of coincidences.

If you're using different computers in the evening and morning it could very well be the personalised results. Or connections, proxies or some other factor in the setup.

I think that too. Maybe you are using two different computers or devices which have different set of proxies. Because it is quite impossible that Google will show results in the morning one and evening another, and then the next morning same as the previous one and evening same as the previous evening.

When Google update any new algorithm and rule then our site keyword results go up and down on search engine that is called Google Dance . Google Dance should be closed by Google because in this situation SEO Expert can not judge actual position of keyword.

As MikeFriedman pointed out, the difference in position of rank #77 and rank #300 is really irrelevant.

Neither of them are the position you want, and will get barely any traffic finding the links at either of those positions.

So rather than hawking your Analytics & Webmaster tools following each little up and down in ranking your site gets, focus on creating content, engaging your audience, and establishing relationships/backlinks. Check back on your ranking once a month while doing this, then you will see real changes.

Watching the little up and downs, especially of a new site, is like investing in the stock marketing and then watching each up and down it makes, the stress will kill you.

Agreed. This is the way you should approach the search engine rankings. It takes way more than couple of hours for the rankings to really change even if Google tests your content or keeps changing the position for some reason they only know.

My only addition to this point: do set up a proper SERP tracker that keeps your historical records. For one, it's really tedious and error-prone to look these by hand. Secondly, you clearly see the direction of the change.

Are you asking how long it takes for Google to register a backlink? There's no way for us to know that. Maybe something is blocking them from getting to it altogether. Maybe they're spidering that site every day, or every week. Maybe they did see it, but didn't tell you about it for some reason.

Usually seems to be much less than 2 months. I'd wait about 2 weeks. But there's no guarantees, and your mileage may vary.

If you are not in the top 20-30, you can bounce around a lot in the SERPs. Also depending on the location the site is checking from, because I assume they are using proxies, it can effect the results because it may be hitting a different google server.

When we are starting the SEO work at any website then first start to get visibility in the search engine and next day you see your ranking is not visible on top then next day again you see top visibility. That is Google dance which is get ranking and loss then again get ranking and loss.
