Paid Backlinks on High PR Sites

Hello,

I currently have an SEO team in India that is suggesting that I do paid backlinks on high PR sites. A few example of these sites are

b2bmarketing.net
community.eldis.org
http://www.buzzfeed.com/

Pricing ranks from $40-$60 to post an article or content with a backlink. Is this worth it? More importantly, will this be helpful or harmful?

I know people are really skeptical about Indian SEO to begin with, but they've been showing me reasonable results and they've ranked a friend national first page for a very competitive industry.

I've never done paid backlinks before so that's the reason why I'm skeptical.

I look forward to your responses.

  • Paid backlinks are helpful only if you have enough visitors on paid website and its better Google recognizes it high authority website. If I had money I would rather go to free backlinks gaining techniques not simply wasting our time and money in paid advertising .
  • Nothing wrong with those sites and the price is pretty fair. However, your question is would it be money well spent. Will your budget only allow for these 3 sites so roughly $150? If that is your budget I would say these three links won't hurt you, but with only 3 links I don't think it will help all that much either. Might provide you a small amount of traffic for a short time but not much in the way of links. If however your budget were much higher, then 10 to 20 of those type of links might provide you with a rankings boost (depending on your keywords, etc.)
  • I think you not go for buy any kind of back links.

Google is very smart and they have expert team to find these kind of techniques.

So better build natural content based links.
  • Buying good quality backlinks can help you. But, you don't want to buy too many at once and you will find prices vary allot across different forums and websites. Although many links are worth $50+/month, you need to use sites like Ahrefs and MajesticSEO to really analyze them. Make sure you're going to be getting good authority from them (don't just go by PR..) and shop around before buying.
  • Paid link should be relevant and coming from only high quality sites that will helpful otherwise not.

As i know paid backlinks are important only if you have number of visitors on your website.
  • Buzzfeed is a FREE platform where anyone can contribute. The content should be appealing to create the buzz, else, your content might get removed. You can try submitting the content first on your own, if it gets removed, then you can probably try their service.

    • You can have paid backlinks. Ensure they are high quality links and don't ever pay for low quality links . But Google don't encourage this activity.
  • As i know paid backlinks works only for huge visitors.

    • Why are you not simply open your own threat and ask everybody to klick on your link, instead of posting some sh...everywhere around?
  • The sites must be relevant to your blogs niche if you are planning to get a paid link from them.

Paid backlinks are only effective if you have number of visitors.

    • That doesn't make any sense. Why would you need visitors for paid backlinks to affect your Google rankings?

Its good its will help you to gain visitors, very easily but apart from these nothing is best than create unique contents for your website or product that will also play one of the major role for gaining visitors for your website or product.

    • This gets so tiring. There's absolutely nothing wrong with good content, but why do people think good content alone will draw visitors? To get visitors people need to know about your site, and that comes from getting ranked, and content won't rank a site. Good content is about holding visitor interest and making sales. Good content is for when visitors finally do reach your site, it's not about getting visitors to your site.
