How to build backlinks to new blog, and then how often to build backlinks to every new post?

Hi guys
I want to open a new blog, but I'm a little confused about backlinks..
How excatly I need to build my backlinks when I open the blog (when I have only 1 post)

And then, every time when I release new post, how long I need to build the backlinks to this post ? post it to the social media would be enough?

    Start small and work your way up... At first, keep it minimal, maybe a dozen or two links per week for the first month or two.. Then double it up for another month or two.. Then double it up again..etc. You should be slowly increasing your backlink counts and that applies to both homepage links along with inner-page links. Use Ahrefs to monitor your links.

    I prefer to focus to promote my blog posts directly instead of spending time building backlinks. I think you'll benefit more if you post links to your blog where people hang out who are interested in your content, regardless of any seo benefit.

    Free Google traffic is great, and i'm not saying you shouldn't focus on that jsut a bit, but it takes a long time and i do'nt see the point of building backlinks in the hopes to get search engine traffic eventually, if you can focus your efforts right now on actually driving hundreds of visitors to your blog instantly.
