Does using the Registered Trademark symbol dilute keyword relevancy

Hi, I need some help with this.

We are a training centre and we have just been told by our qualification awarding body that we must use the Registered Trademark symbol anywhere we mention the qualification. To give you an idea on our index page we use this word 46 times ( in various phrases and context )

We rank pretty highly and are on the 1st page of Google for most phrases associated (sometimes even higher than the qualifications body).
My worry is that by adding the Registered Trademark symbol we may actually be diluting keyword relevancy and will lose our ranking. Or will this be completely ignored by Google?

One of my colleagues says we should create an image of the R symbol and place this next to every instance of the word. I don't know about that though.
what are your thoughts?

Thanks

You might want to consider using the actual HTML code for the trademark symbol instead of an image.

    For example CompanyName
    CompanyName&#0 153; (remove spaces)
    Signature
