Hello

I Noticed that i started getting backlings to my site from Warrior. I want to ask, is this good for my site considering the fact that my site has to do with Gadgets related stuff. I read so many articles that getting backlinks from unrelated forum is harmful.

But i have seen many people on even health related blog still here for same backlinks,Ain't they aware of this danger?

Please am i safe? Let me know if i a should remove my link.

Thanks

Yes, you should remove your link.

That advice is as useless as the question. You don't have a real single link
      from the WF.

Unfortunately, the day is still young.

And none of them are ranking for anything worthwhile.

Signature links are generally pretty worthless for SEO. The only value they really hold is for direct traffic, but to really maximize that you need to be participating in a forum that relates to your niche.

Also, links from here are nofollow.

  • it depends upon the relevancy of the forum post or the tread.if the thread where you place your back link related to you links niches then it is ok with the link.

It's harmless, and definitely not link building.

But as Paul said, strap your crash helmet because a torrent of crap is coming straight at you.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.

If the sites don't relevant to my site will be harmful?

It's not harmful, but also it's not helpful. If you want benefits for your website, then you should get links from your niche related forums. Forum links are not very beneficial for ranking a site, but they are beneficial for getting traffic.

You just contradicted yourself right there of course the link is helpful, it's a way to get some more traffic to the website.
Even if this forum is not related to gadgets &stuff, that doesn't mean that nobody here is. You could have a signature linking to a cooking forum! I bet plenty of members here like to cook, so there you go, traffic.

Signature links are for advertising, and will have no negative effects on your SEO.

If you would like an example, click on my link. ;D

According to my experience, it will not harm you.. because this forum is not on single based niche.

The value of link come down to relevance and domain Authority.
WF are very high Authority and relevant, if your site has anything to do with SEO, Marketing and online stuff. But if you have movie blog or some other stuff not related to WF. The link from the site of little value only. I said little value, its still worth because WF is very popular and high Authority Domain.

So its depend and forum signature are worth only if it relevant to site niche. so better look for forum that are Authoritative in your niche and be a active member in such forums. not only its bring ranking, that will get you direct clients too.

  • It's indeed harmless. But if you invest a similar amount of time in commenting on forums related to your industry segment, the traffic will actually be valuable. Getting just the traffic on your website from unknown sources can increase your bounce rate in analytics as well.

Increased bounce rate doesn't directly hurt you. Just sharing your content or running ad campaigns may increase the rate, because people may come for that one piece of content, and leave afterwards. And that counts as a bounce.
