How to build backlinks to new post in my blog, except of social media bookmarking ?

    A few ideas from my company's experience:

    1. Build relationships with other bloggers and make them know you exist. They will be mentioning you but be PATIENT. Think long-term.
    2. If post are interesting and informative, reddit kind of websites are also good way of getting links. But don't be spammy! Posting every link from your blog from a fresh account is not a good idea.
    3. Build satellite-websites which will be linking to you. But be PATIENT and THINK long-term. Satellites also must be quality websites and you shouldn't spam them all at once.
    4. Forums. Answer people who ask problems that you provide a solution. Experienced marketers can also simulate/stimulate a discussion about this problem (asking about something from a different account) but you need to be very careful because most of people do it too artificially and it looks spammy and moderators hate it.

    5.Once again, relationships. If you know many webmasters, they will link to you. You think your post is valuable mentioning on page that already exist? Email to owners.

    Example: You posted a better/faster/simplier solution of some PHP issue that some coders post about. Link to them and they would love to edit their post and link to you.

    Don't use shortcuts and short-term solutions (spamming, automatic submissions). Once you do it, your domain could be lost forever.

        What can I say to you different than 'it depends'.

        It depends on how old is your blog (the older, the better), how many links you already have (the more good quality links, the better). I can't tell you specific number.

        I can only tell you that if you got quality links from websites with high reputation, then you probably don't need to worry about numbers. But as I've mentioned before, if you think about linking from your own websites ('satellites' as I mentioned before), you shouldn't do it all at once.

        This 'gut' about how many links you can provide comes with time and experience. But from my experience, newbies are too cautious and think it will hurt their ranking if they get 3 links the same day. It won't. (I'm not talking about those horrible spammers who can spam 10000 links a day and if they didn't get results, they go with extra 20000)

        How long? It's neverending process. But if you really providing a good content, people may do it for you for free.
