Hi,

I am new to websites etc and would like to know what results I get if I type:
links:articlesaday.com in Google.

also, what is the difference between link and links

in google for link: I get zero results and yahoo I get over 400 - why is it so?

I mean what does it tell me?

Also, what do the results mean here:
site:articlesaday.com

    As far as Iknow there is no 'links' operator. It seems to return pages that contain the word links and the rest of the text in your query ignoring the colon

    Google is parsimonious with links in the results. You could have 4000 backlinks and only see 10 with google's link operator. Yahoo shows more, but neither show you all the links

      I think Yahoo lists a very good number of backlinks. There's a site called BacklinkWatch.org but I think it returns the same results as Yahoo's site explorer.
