    First, your site should have quality content. Then comment on blogs under your niche with Alexa rank less than 100,000 and page rank more than 4. It is really effective. spend 1 hour a day to comment on 5 blogs. So 5 *30 = 150 backlinks. Then check your alexa rank. Remember, be consistent.

    First of all, your Alexa ranking is really not important.. It has nothing to do with the real rankings, so to speak. But, if for whatever reason you need to improve it, then simply do a quick gogole search on "how to improve alexa rank". You will find so many articles written on the subject!

      Content has nothing to do with Alexa Ranking.

      Alexa Ranking is a meaningless number. It is a number that Alexa makes up based on how many people visit your site that have the Alexa Toolbar installed on their browser.

    As couple of users pointed out above Alexa is pointless and useless. If you're trying to impress some dimwit who things Alexa means something you should really do him and yourself a favour. Explain why you're only interested in meaningful tracking.

    I just can wonder you use that site to get paid in some way depending on your alexa rank. Well, just advertise Alexa toolbar to your visitors, as mentioned before, it only will increase getting more visits from people with Alexa toolbar installed.
