When Have You Shared A Link?

If and when you decide to put a link to another website on your own, why would/did you decide to do that?

Also, how did you find/get those links? Did you find them on your own through search engines, did someone else share it with you through Facebook, or did a webmaster email you asking for a link share?

I think this could give us all some good thought into what other webmasters really want when they put a link to someone else on their site and how they really want to find the sites they link to.

I would say that you should not worry and stress too much on whether you should link to another site online or not. Just concentrate a lot more on better things.

I would just share sites that I bookmarked when doing research on related topics in my niche. Some site owners will see I am linking to them, and maybe come check out my site (this is called Trackbacks). and some will not. As simple as that.

Just make sure you check often if these outbound links are still up and online. That would be to be good with the search engines. You dont want to link to too many "dead sites" from your site.

And you shouldn't even think about "why would you send another site traffic?" .. that is a bad way of thinking and wrong mindset. If you dont believe in abundance, you won't get much of it. Dont worry about anything, just do what feels right, and you shall get what you want.

    this info should help you!

Maybe I should explain a little better why I asked the question. I wasn't worried so much about why I personally should link to someone. I was curious as to why others may link to me and how they normally find those links. It wasn't about being "traffic greedy" and not sending visits to others at all.

This is good info though. This is the type of information to help people know how they get those referral links.
