Problem with Yahoo Local Listing

by nirmalya 3 replies
Hi,

I am facing a problem with Yahoo Local Listing.

The listing of my company business is wrongly done in yahoo basic listing earlier and I can't recall the account by which the listing was done.

Now I detect the error and want to edit the business information along with the business url.

Can you please tell me the following in the context of 2015 (as the things have changed a lot in 2015)

1. Can I get the email ID by which the business was listed in Yahoo?
2. How to edit the business information along with the business url remaining in basic level (without expense)

Early response is highly appreciated.

I don't think you're gonna be able to get the Yahoo ID without contacting them. I don't see why they wouldn't give you the ID though as long as you can provide some kind of proof (name, address..etc) that you owned the account. As for editing the information without charge, you'd need to get into the account first. I'm guessing if you can't do it from there then you'll need to contact them about that as well. Although if it's a basic listing I don't think they would charge.

You might want to contact Yahoo about that issue. Being that Yahoo is an ancient search engine in regards to Warrior Forum users I doubt that you will be able to find a proper solution here.

That seems like an issue that Yahoo Local business department may be able to help you with.

I hope you find a solution to your problem!

You can always recover your Yahoo email through the recovery section. Emailing them sends out automated replies most of the time. You can first try out recovery if you remember any minor details you have inserted for listing your business.
