Are you asking about Internal Linking? Internal linking means linking articles within your site. If it is then its always good. Internal linking has various advantages to one's site.
Yeah, you can put links inside your articles along with the your standard "Related Topics" links. Just don't put unncessary links within your content body. Only put those which are relevant and related to the topic.

Well, sure, it sends the readers to another one of your articles, I do it too, especially if I know I'm linking to one of the articles that is most read/most popular/the one people comment a lot on.

Yes, internal linking is the same as internal linking.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.

that means I actually not need to insert hyperlink of my another page of my page into the content since below of my articles already showcase related articles under the same section?

Depends on the situation. If you're mentioning a keyword that's related to another article that's something you might want to link. Anchor texts are not the most important thing to consider, but using them in this manner might help you a little SEO-wise.

Depending on how the "related posts" feature works the articles may not be that closely related after all.

Creating hyperlink is important so user can get depth information over the hyper-link query but keep in mind your next article should be relevant to hyper-link words. Hyper-link helpful for both search engine as well as for users.

That is called 'internal links'. You can create internal links to your another post if it is helpful for readers. Useless interlinks that is targeted to 'build internal links in keywords' may harm your website.
