I am going to work on affiliate marketing model and also want to apply for google adsense.So, should i work on optimizing my page or blog post for the targeted user to click on affiliate links or should i search for the high paying keywords. I want to do both these things at the same time in the same blog domain.

I have one another doubt- are these two things completely different - finding a low competitive keyword and finding high paying keywords for adsense. If yes,then how can i do both these things at the same time.
