how do i fix this? Missing canonical tag. multiple urls of same page

im using godaddy and i am not happy with them. im having this issue and have no idea how to fix it...... Missing canonical tag, found multiple urls of same page - www.domain.com/ and www.domain.com/home-1.html

    Canonical tag would need to be provided by you...

    Now basic, preset server settings are another thing, common
    to virtually every host. The list of different urls getting you to
    the homepage can be quite long.

    domain.com really does not exist in most cases. Whether you
    put some extension on it or not, your homepage loads.
    That is, you can type warriorforum.com, but what you really
    are loading is warriorforum.com/index.php or whatever they
    have their homepage set to. Server settings can do a flow
    chart. If they find index.php, that loads. If not, it loads
    index.html, then so on unless you have tweaked it.

    If you have not learned about certain things, you need to start.

    I assume you are using WP which is the worst CMS out there.
    But that has zip to do with godaddy. Your website is up to you.
    Canonical and other stuff is entirely in your hands.

      Godaddy apparently has this very limited site builder script. Maybe OP is talking about that.
