"Proof" of Site's Ranking?

I'd like to do a kind of 'before' and 'after' about where my site ranks on Google's SERPs for a given KW phrase ... before and after doing some SEO.

Right now, my site doesn't even show up anywhere, from what I can tell. Probably ranked #10 million or something. (lol)

Anyway, is there a tool (preferably a free one) that I can use to enter my primary KW phrase and/or my site's DN and find out where it ranks?

Thanks,
Richard

  • I use Market Samurai for that purpose. But even this software is limited to the postion 1.000.
  • Richard, I've thought about this and researched on this for a long period of time already. As far as I know, there is no such tool. There is no SEO guide that would state so too. I would like to know if there was. Possibly likely in the future. Having said that, please keep me in the know if you ever found one...

  • You could record on video of the first day
by searching on the Keyword term (it will not show up).

You can then do the same when SEO is aplied and search
    again for the Keyword term.

Use an online newspaper like NY Times to show dates before
and after the SEO. Hope this helps.

  • At the moment I'm using SheerSEO - it's paid, but has a 3 months' trial period - you will be able to figure out if it's worth it . From what I've seen till now, it's fairly accurate, although you have to allow for certain fluctuations.
