Starting a new seo blog?

I am going to start a new seo blog.. I made some decisions...If u have some great ideas, you can share here....
1) .com domain
2) At least 1000 words quality post...
3) Designing a logo from fiverr
5) Buying expiere domain from godaddy auctions......
6) Genesis Porse theme--- Green

    Great, go for it, but posts should be according to the topic you are covering, if the posts has great content and go over more than 2000 words then its great to have it.

    To start a new seo blog content should be of good quality and one blog should be of 500 words.You can post your blog on high pr blog posting sites and on Google plus and Facebook for website promotion.

    Good one from Mike. Writing (or outsourcing good content) tends to be the hardest thing in web publishing.

    I'd add this:

    Do a bit of research on any of your potential topics, and see what kind of content is out there. When it comes to search visibility you're directly competing against these sites and pieces. Do you still feel that you'd stand a change?

    Go for it.. First your blog content is related to your topic and it should be quality content. Length of blog must be 500 words and then post your blogs in high PR websites for good result.

    SEO is a very broad subject. You should probably narrow it down to a certain niche. You can narrow it down inside SEO itself (only onsite, offsite, linkbuilding, outreach, technical) or outside: SEO for shops, for non-profits, seo for amateurs, seo for professionals, seo for agencies, seo for inhouse teams.

    The length of the blog posts are not so important anymore (but at least 400+ words) if the content is great and you can get relevant traffic. Relevant traffic, again, is easier to get if you target a certain niche for your SEO Blog.

    • Use keywords with more than 5000 searches monthly-check google keyword planner
    • Focus on 2000+ words for your post-tends to be more trustworthy to google
    • Main Keyword must appear in the post title, first and last paragraph, and one or two times in the post itself.
