Google is working on making Penguin and Panda faster

We just learned that Penguin, one day, will run in real time/continuously and that Panda will be refreshed soon but likely will always need manual data refreshes.

    Could you please provide a link/source to this? I do know that the Panda update will come in a few weeks' time, but I've never heard about Google making it run continuously.

    Just for the fun of it, it'll be horrible if this happens. However, I do think it'll do more harm than good though.

    Penguin running continuously is good news. If you get slapped with link penalty, and fix the situation, it may still take a while before Google runs the update. Disclaimer: as far as I know, I'm not expert on Penguin-related penalties.
