I'm organizing a one my sites right now and the question just popped in my head. Here's an example

KEYWORD: pomeranian dog food

URL STRUCTURE
mydogrule.com/breeds/pomeranian/food

URL KEYWORD
mydogrule.com/nutrition/best-pomeranian-dog-food


What have you been able to rank better? URL Structure or URL Keyword

    It's really not going to make a different. Not enough difference to waste time obsessing over anyway.

    Go with which ever is easiest for your viewers to navigate, as that will have more of an impact in this scenario.

    Although personally, I would go with the latter because it looks the cleanest, but if it makes navigation more difficult, go for the former.
