If you found someone's PBN, what would you do?

I just found a few cleverly constructed PBN sites. How would one leverage this finding to help their own SEO efforts? At minimum, I plan to use the technique this person uses to mask the "irrelevant" links.

Note that I'm not suggesting that I would harm the PBN, other than possibly competing with it.

I think the best way to leverage it is by doing exactly what you're doing, finding out which new techniques you can turn around and implement into your own PBN. I wouldn't go harming it, but take the techniques and start competing with 'em

You can create your own PBN and get contextual backlinks to your main website. or you can ask PBN owner if they can provide you any links if its related to your niche.

If it is a good one you would not have been able to find it, if you "discover" the PBN see what he is doing so you can avoid it.

I found it when I was analyzing the links of a competitor and found a strong domain that contained home page links to my competitor.

Where I often see obvious PBNs blogs with irrelevant sidebar links, this PBN site is a resource list site and the OBL is is implemented in a clever, non-obvious way.

Learn from their mistakes that you found. I'd also email and let them know. You never know, a beautiful JV opportunity might present itself.

      JV?

I don't know if the PBN owner is also the competitor site owner or merely the PBN client. In any case, I don't want to expose my site to the competitor before it's strong enough to rank. My content is better so I think I will catch up to the high ranking competitor in no time.

Well, competing against a website that using PBN can be really tough because these blogs are usually powerful domains. So I'd suggest you to build your own.
