Yes. You run the risk of being labeled a spammer. You'll likely find your sites on plenty of blacklisted spammer sites.

Don't go but gigs on blog commenting. If you have time for then do blog comment by you. It will be more workable than buy gigs.

Well, gigs that offer manual blog comments tend to offer a very limited number of them. It's not like blasting thousands upon thousands of blog comments to many websites. So if these comments are done manually, I don't see the risk that's involved in that process. At the same time, the problem that I sometime encounter with blog commenting is that one blog comment from a site can cause that number to skyrocket to hundreds. If that ever happens, I'd suggest you to disavow the website you get that link from completely, so that it may not affect your site's standing.

There is no risk assuming the service provider only comments on related websites to your business.

If you do that you do not risk anything, as long as they do not buy gigs.

There is actually no risk involve, if you are doing it the right way.
The only problem is they are often considered as Spammed links if there are so many click coming from a particular direction.
That is what we experienced with many of our back-links, even from high PR websites.

There is always a risk, but it's about minimising risk through not doing silly things, like mass spamming blog comments.

Ìf possible do it manually, don't buy. It will penalize you in later.

Don't go for them, they are mostly spams. And even if you find any reliable service the point is that most of the blogs are no-follow and the remaining least amount of blogs may be do-follow but they don't provide any link juice.

There is a risk in commenting on a blog, There are times that you could say offensive words then get ban on the blogs. The waste of money is not a big deal, if you think you are using your money in a right way!

Today I find some of my competitors' backlinks and then comment on the same pages as they have done (if the site looks legit and has ok DA), so was just looking for a quicker way.

People still do blog commenting but these days, it is very hard to get your comments approved.

There were days, a few years ago when there was not a lot of competition, were you can post on any blog that you found and be approved automatically.

Blog owners got smarter and are now all moderating all the comments that come through their websites. So if you spam their blogs with useless comments, they will not approve you and you have just wasted your time.

Do follow and relevant blog comments are not risky.

Provide quality comment and build your authority. Links from trusted domains will help you to increase your page rank and you will also get quality traffic.

I would not advise buying backlinks from anyone - if your site is important to you, then it is best you take control of building your own reputation.

The right interactions in the right places can pull significant traffic, so it is worth doing. Just make sure you are providing real value and not just commenting for commentings sake. If you make a proper contribution your comment will likely get approved and those reading the thread in future may well become visitors to your site too.

I scared very much from buying gigs. They use automated software, and they don't monitor where the link is created.

I have bought many blog comments from many service providers, They are definitely useful to maintain link diversity but only if they are from good sites which have 30+ DA & PA and with 20+ TF&CF.

Here are few things which i want you to look at,

1) When they submit report, they might have less than 30 OBL, but later after weeks it will be 200+. ( As these people will use the same list providing comments to other clients )

2) They will not put you on first page, they only boost rankings. And also to maintain link diversity.

3) I have stopped using these services, as they are not helping me anymore.

4) Here is what am doing for my client sites, My method to get Niche Relevant and High Authority Comments.

Use this code in Google : site:.com "Login or register to post comments" "Keyword"

Example : [ site:.com "Login or register to post comments" "Weight loss" ]

Where at site:.com you can use .net or .info any other domain extension, also respective to the country you want to target. Like you can add .es or .fr if you want spain or french niche comments.

5) Now how do you know, which one is good site and bad, Add seoquake & Opensiteexplorer extensions to your browser. Go to Google search advanced settings, and change search result to 100.

6) If you have scrapebox or any other scraper, will save you lot of time.

7) It is difficult to get comments approved, all you need to do is invest time to get the best comments.

8) Out of every 100 submissions, you will get 4 min or 15 max approved comments. Have been doing this since many years, and those are the results.

I read that leaving random comments on sites which were NOT relevant to your niche would be considered a negative by Google. So if had a site about dog clothes (which I don't) then left a comment on a blog about HD Tv's, then it would look to Google like "un-natural backlinking" which is frowned upon. I read, it is all about relevancy in your journey to winning the popularity contest on the web. How accurate is this?

1. Use your real name.
2. Do it manually
3. Use high quality blogs
4. Give some idea or value to the content via your comment.

If you can archives above. there is no risks.
