Ok, I have a website with a ton of different state pages... I have noticed that I have pages that are mobilehomesforsale.com/properties/Texas and some that are mobilehomesforsale.com/properties/texas format....

Does this count as duplicate content? Is it hurting my seo?> Or is it in fact the same webpage?

It's not the same web page because one URL could return a 404 error.

    Example:

Some servers/host are setup to redirect uppercase letters to lower case so you need to figure that out on your own since it depends on your own server/host setup.

My advice as far as Google/SEO, just don't do it. Create unique page title/URL text or you'll most likely end up tripping a Supplemental filter & stand a chance of burying one or both pages in Google SERPs.

In other words, creating URLs like mentioned in OP is your own fault & you're literally asking for problems. The OP URLs are confusing for both Google & traffic.

First off, thanks so much for your insightful response... Definitely helps me out

yes, this is what i need to clean up... as when i created the different webpages on accident it became very confusing even to me. So when I look at my ahrefs.com it shows that I have 45,000+ pages with duplicate content... so this is definately penalizing me right? Would you reccomend to go in and delete all 45,000 pages... or to just redirect all of them?

Im trying to do everything correct and by the book, it was a pure accident that I created these duplicate pages....

If it were your website, how exactly would you fix my problem?

You say 45K pages but Google only shows 17K pages (site:mobilehomesforsale.com), it gets a lot worse when you search that site:domain.com & go to the last search results page, Google only returns 233 pages. Something doesn't add up.

I haven't looked at your site in detail but I get the feeling you have a lot of pages being dumped in Supplemental SERPs because of the 17K - 233 pages issue.

Again, I haven't looked at the site in detail so I'm not recommending 301 redirects simply because that's a massive scale (45K pages).
