SSL Certificate Error

I have an ecommerce portal having more than 1500 products and the client also bought a SSL certificate to help it make more secure. But, I would like to know that How can I get benefit of that?

When I checked in MOZ tool its showing "Common Name Error". What is it and How how can I place the SSL certificate on my website to resolve this issue. The expiry date still have 9 months left.

  • This question is confusing me 'I would like to know that How can I get benefit of that?' So can you tell me, you are talking about your ecommerce portal or your client?

    It happened because the domain name you was accessing, will different from the domain name you have issued ssl certificate for.

    For example, you are acessing https://xyz.com but ssl certificate is issued on domain name www.xyz.com

    After trying it, will come same error then you should contact your ssl provider. I think this article http://bit.ly/1LgMaT1 will help you to understand this matter in detail.
