Took me a bit to decipher that you're trying to talk about SEO by Yoast. No, it will not do any of those things. It may help a bit in "generating massive traffic" if you do everything else right, but the "quality of content" feature just basically tells you wether you've used the keywords that you chose yourself.

Yoast SEO does not tell how you will rank. That's patently false.

Nettiapina hope you didn't understand the meaning of downloading the plugin of SEO byyoast and Creating a google robort.txt file.

The important of Having SEO byyoast plugin in wordpress is to tell you whether your content have quality to rank in Search engine.

And creating the robort.txt file is to tell google where to crawl and where to leave by doing so you will ranks your post easily in SEO and increase traffic because many people will visit your post.

Just a simple suggestion: try to write the names of established products and well-known features correctly. It's "SEO by Yoast" as in "This is a SEO plugin by this fellow who calls himself Yoast", and "robots.txt" as in the plural of "robot".

Of course, I do know these things pretty well, and I've got no idea why you're hoping that I don't.

That's something it doesn't do. You're just staring nice red, yellow and green dots on the screen, and hoping that SEO is that easy. Yoast SEO only tells you that you've used the keyword, not much else. The suggestions have nothing to do with your actual rankings.

This is something that doesn't even need to be done on a properly configured site. No, it has very little to do with your rankings. And absolutely nothing with your traffic.

The worst thing about the OP is the suggestion that these simple technical things on a site will somehow cause "massive traffic" or "first page rankings". No! They're just some basic tools that site may employ. Only SEO by Yoast even has the potential to affect rankings, and it doesn't do that much. Your site likely had almost all the same SEO settings before installing the plugin.

For my opinions those who own website should take care of SEO byyoast plugin and robort.txt file.

No, I don't. This is something that you quickly check immediately after you've published a site. This stuff should only take a few minutes.

You should only worry about robots.txt when something is wrong, or you know you need to limit access to some part of the site.

There's much more important things to think about. Content, site structure, internal links, backlinks, outreach, etc. This stuff doesn't even register on the radar.

Nettiapina the truth is leaving behind the robort.txt file you will slow down your website to rank in search engine because you may write a good and quality content but there is small error you may include in your content that search engine don't want to be included in content.My advice robort.txt file is important for search engine to rank your website.

NO. To everything.

The robots.txt file is meant to block one or more pages from robots.

It has nothing to do with how fast, and which pages robots crawl first, which last... That you do with a sitemap. But, if you don't have hundreds of pages, you don't really need it.

The things you listed in your first post, don't bother with them. You want to rank, get backlinks, get your site structure right, pick keywords you can win on, offer something on your site that gets people to come back... There are so many better things you could do with your time than what you mentioned.

The robots.txt file mostly serves to protect parts of your site. I've heard people say that by expressly setting certain areas to 'allow' you might improve the crawl efficiency but I'm not sure I buy it, and they weren't the most reputable sources. The robots file doesn't affect your rankings at all, it's more a security measure if anything.

And dear god please check your spelling. Roborts don't exist. Robots on the other hand, do.

That's about as untrue as statements get. It's completely false. Why do you keep repeating this crap?

DABK gave the short definition of what robots.txt does. It does not do anything else. It does not help you to rank in any way. It's just a simple list of files that you're asking the crawlers to ignore. If your CMS keeps things tidy you don't even need robots.txt.

No. I'm saying that it doesn't do what you claim it does. There's no mechanism by which robots.txt can directly affect rankings, or somehow help long articles. Yes, robots.txt does stuff, but not that stuff.

You claim I'm wrong about something, but I have no idea what you're trying to say.

Hoping your someone you don't know how to use the word BS, using the word BS means nonsense,bullshit,lies and other relating to those word any way am not making it as a big deal to talk about,but if you can see using robots.txt file will help you according to other people suggestions use or leave it that's all.

There is no such tips that you will follow and your website will appear in Google first page.

It's on going process and you need to invest quality time on producing the quality content. Spend time on finding out ways to earn more backlinks and more share, like, comment on social media.

If you have local business, try optimizing your Google local places for business page , as it will help your business to appear in Google first page pack.

For my opinion using robots.txt file i considered those who have a long article and a lot of pictures inside the article.Though many people thought it has no effect to rank in search engine but bare in your mind that it has some effect for those who have long article.Lets take a look when you submit the xml site map to google webmaster tool you will see some article and image will not be indexed by google hope here every one know, so what if you will lack the robots.txt file do you think this factor will not affect the ranking of your site in search engine?.

No, content is not king of SEO. Look, some time when you have a bit of down time, at the top 3 results for several searches and you'll see that a lot of them have average or below average content, little of it too, and that content has not been updated in ages.

That's just good-sounding but pointless advice.

Some of it is wrong too.

Create quality content. Create original content.

No, no, no.

It's a good idea to do that, because more visitors spend more time on your site, therefore, the chances that you'll make a sale go up.

But you can copy, word for word, someone else's content and, if you are better at getting backlinks, you'll rank higher than they do.

This is what Google does: it looks at duplicate content as 1 unit. It picks the 1st occurrence and says this is the one we will show. Till a lot of people vote for the 7th occurrence, or the 68th, or the 1014th. Then, it shows the 7th, or the 68th, or the 104th. If the SEO of those is better than the SEO of all the pages fighting for the same keyword, it will show it as #1.

By the way, 'build quality backlinks' is meaningless advice. Unless it comes with the correct definition of quality and tells you how to go about getting such links.

I'll give you a few similar ones:
It's not hard to make money online. All you have to do is rank a website high in Google and sell something on it.

It's not hard to get a big email list. All you have to do is to get a lot of people to sign up on your list.
