Strong increase of google+

Hi Guys,

I see a strong increase of google+ mentions/interactions for some of my pages. Normally, I've 0-10 google+ mentions/interactions - suddenly I get +8k. Its weird. Does anyone know, what it is about? Where I can check, whats the origin for that increase? Could it has a negative effect on my ranking?

  • That picture is way too small. What type of pages do you have? Without more information it's a little difficult to pinpoint anything accurate.

    its a ecommerce site and all the sites with the huge amount of google+ are category pages. So no blog, or really highly informative sites.
  • Do you have a link to your website? Could it be a product on your ecommerce site that simply went viral because a large Google + page shared your website? It would help if you left a link to your website / business.
