Hi everyone,
What would be the best practices / Fiverr gigs for YouTube channels and videos? White hat and non spam. Something that would not ban the channel or video. I have a legitimate channel on YT and I would like to grow it.

I already know the basics like tags, optimizing, keyword research, description, links, etc.

Aside from AWESOME videos, what are the best intermediate - expert SEO practices to improve ranking and SEO?

Buy views from Youtube (Google). Get your video embedded on various sites.

    An analogy for you:
Best fiverr seo gigs is to SEO as best turd cake is to pastries.

      Thanks for the advice lol
I'm having trouble learning how to embed videos without it being considered spammy. IE: Joining multiple web 2.0s and then embedding everywhere..wouldn't that be spammy? Could that get me banned ? I don't want to do shady practices and want to go all white hat.

Regarding buying views from Google - Adwords campaign, right? I'm trying to find info on how I should do this. Some say do it only for 2 days but I can't locate good info on how to execute it properly.

        Hi,
Squishy i would recommend you to use adwords as they are giving and excellent offer pay for one and get 2 free. AS i am in UAE google says spend 100 AED on advertising and you will get 300 credits to advertise again. So its like you are saving 300 dollars in price for 100.. Google has been running this promotion on facebook sponsor posts. SO, if you are looking forward to give it a try this is the best oppourtunity..

If 200 site owners decided to embed your video on their sites, would you consider it spammy?

        Why not?

        Replicate that...

Create web 2.0 properties that add value to visitors where it makes sense to embed the video.

If you have a video about losing weight and you have a site about losing weight through exercise, a site about getting better abs, a site about losing weight through pills, a site reviewing lose-weight products, a video about losing weight won't, necessarily, be considered spam.

If your sites are not one article that's been spun and posted on many sites but sites that have a reason to exist?

PS I don't do spam, but spamming works, if you know what you're doing.

It correct for embed your video on web 2.0 sites.
You want white hat, you can get backlinks from authority and relevant. It is similar to SEO for normal websites.

            Hi Amonmag,
Yes, I am running adwords right now for $10 a day for 2 days. Am I doing it right? It's so frustrating not being able to find regular info online. Esspecially since they update the algorithms and no one wants to share their secrets -- which I understand completely.

I had purchased a fiverr gig before posting this video -- He has 1K + reviews and five stars for ranking video on first page of YouTube within 3 - 4 weeks. Is this risky? I should have asked here before posting.

Before see the results, I can not say anything. With $5 for Fiverr gig, you can test this work or not.
For buy ads, you can use Bing ads also. Sign up Bing ads, wait few days and they will send you a $50 coupon, you can run the campaign few days with less budget than Adwords.

Yes, it's very correct to embed your own videos. Not correct to have crappy content, crappy videos... Though that works too.

There is no white SEO, only grey and greyer.

Or, white seo is no seo, ask Google.

Google wants you to create content, then pay it (adwords) to get content found. That's white SEO, as per Google.

    Thanks DABK for your advice.

Some info: I work VERY hard on my videos. They take a lot of money to make and time. Sometimes a few days and lots of $. I am trying to build a legitimate channel. Not temporary.

I did an adwords campaign and also bought a fiverr gig for $5 which ranks video on the first page. Is this risky? How do they rank the video on the first page? Within 1 day it's ranking on the first page of YouTube.

Is it adwords that is keeping my video on the 1st page or is it the fiverr gig? What do you think? Thanks again for all your advice.

How many videos does your top competitor have? How long is the longest? How many views? How long are their descriptions? Are the descriptions optimized for your keyword?

Are you interlinking your videos the right way? Video 1 to video 2 to video 3 to video 4 to video 1?

Are you getting your videos embedded?

Are you getting backlinks to your channel url?

Hi, there are a few handful of competitors. Top viewed has about 30-40. 8 mins in length -- around the same as mine. The descriptions are fairly long. I copied their description, tags and title. I'm putting links in the description of my most viewed videos. Im not sure if Im linking properly. I embeded my video to Blogger with iframe embed. I never thought about doing backlinks to my channel because I'm worried I may do something without knowing that will penalize my channel and adsense. I've been online for a month every day trying to learn. Spent money on eBooks and information packages but nothing worth anything because all that info is already available online.

Thanks a lot! But where do I get the proper information from? It seems like a lot of the things you do Google will whack you for them. I want to buy the right information that actually works and not something that will get you banned.

You can upload short videos on other video sharing sites and post link there to view full video.

Thanks everyone. You guys are super helpful and I hope with the tips I'm learning from this forum I can help others in the future.

    UPDATE:
My video was on the 1st page then it disappeared on to the 4th page of Youtube. I'm really worried -- what do you think this person is doing? He has 1000 5 star reviews and no negative feedback on Fiverr. He guarantees 1st page spot in 4 weeks of Youtube search.

I started losing sleep over this and regretted using fiverr. Could it be the reason for my view drop as well? Can this have my YT channel terminated and adsense?

I think he change your description or something similar. It will dance few weeks.
Next time, if you want to test, try with web 2.0 or your trial sites, you must not use your money site for testing.

The basics of ranking on search terms is the relevancy of your titles, descriptions, and tags, and backlinks..

My suggestions might be theoretical and please correct me if you think they're wrong..

I would also suggest to create a compelling thumbnails to make users click your video and not your competitors, and make sure your actual video is relevant to your topic or your title. Users search on Youtube to get information, if your content is kinda misleading with your title and thumbnail, your audience will not bother watch your video till the end and that would mean low retention rate for your video performance analysis thus making your video not useful for your audience.

Based on what I've read on different articles and a bit of observation, the higher your video's viewing time (not number of views) on Youtube the more Youtube gives your video priority because that might be the answer to what they're searching for. That's why you'll see videos that have lower views that outrank those higher views. Maybe they are optimized better, and they have better insight performance.

You may buy Fiverr gigs to increase your views, but make sure to analyze your video insights for retention rate and drop-off.

    Good luck!
