If you’re serious about getting results from your content, there are 3-steps you need to know:

Step #1: Find content with a proven track record of attracting backlinks, social shares and first page rankings.

Step#2: Make strategic improvements to that content.

Step #3: Promote that content via email outreach .

    Copywriter here.

There are two types of written content in SEO: those on your site, and those outside it.

On-site: your best bet is to simply ensure your content has an ample AND ACCEPTABLE amount of keywords and are tailor-made and understandable to your users. Depending on your audience (English, most likely), you need to have a good command of the language, The way you write should be easily understandable.

Off-site: guest posts and other blogs. Too lazy to put it into detail, though I'm sure you guys get my drift.

"Two types of written content in SEO on your site and outside it?" Never heard that! only from you.
"Ensuring Ample AND ACCEPTABLE amount of keywords?" How do you write a content with these estimated amount of keywords?
"Tailor-made and understandable?" What do you specifically mean?
"you need to have a good command of the language?" How will this statement help to create quality content?

Kindly read between the lines of the thread before you post.

Well, you have. And it's true. You have in-site content (every word, image, etc on your site), and those outside it (Guest posts, YouTube videos, etc).

      Check this
You don't "estimate " keywords, you insert one or two as an introduction, which is acceptable in my - and in Google's - book. The purpose of doing so is to tell both Google and your users what a certain page is all about.

Oh God, it feels like I'm talking to a 12-year old

Have you written a blog post directed to your audience before? If yes, then you know what I mean. If you don't, then Google it

When you write content, you don't write it for SEO purposes, you do so in order to somehow captivate your site visitors and subtly persuade them to avail your products and services. Writing for your users means you're writing for SEO. Common knowledge, really.

Are you able to write good quality content in English without having a good command of the language? I think not.

Kindly understand the premise of each post before giving people a lecture.... or use your common sense

      Welcome to basic copywriting, newbie.

Know the topic or hire someone who will research it.

Write naturally but be aware of keywords and related terms. Just use your main keyword once in the article, don't stuff the article full.

Make sure your article is linked to from older content on your site, through good internal linking.

Build some links, share it on social media.

    It really is that simple.

For me successful SEO content comes from:

A fantastic understanding of who you are writing content for - what they care about, what problems they have and what decisions they have to make in your niche area. If you can provide them with solutions to the problems they have, and help them with the big decisions they need to make - you will create content that has value. I would sit down and brainstorm a keyword/content strategy based on the people you are trying to attract to your content - and evolve this over time.

How you label this content for SEO is an additional thing - important yes, but without the prior point above it is more or less worthless. If people find your content because of some wildly successful SEO strategy and then don't connect with it, then your strategy fails - you want to create a growing number of return visitors to be successful. The offshoot of this in SEO terms is that this will lead to better rankings as your views, shares and bounce rates will all impress the mighty Google.

Once you have quality content, there are so many ways to use it.
Do you know who your audience is? where they are present online? and can you quantify and line up your goals with this information?
    Yes?
Make sure your high-quality, well-targeted, keyword rich content is everywhere your prospective readers are! Be it Facebook, blogs, article directories, tumblr and everywhere else you intend to get readers from.
Remember, your SEO content strategy is not about making an disseminating thin content that might appeal to robots., In fact it’s about publishing compelling content your audience is is looking for, and then using the search engines to help them find it.
As mentioned above, there's on-site SEO and external SEO. The first one is pretty straightforward i.e. putting great content on your website to get traffic and readers. The second one i.e. external optimization ensures that your content is not only great at attracting traffic via search engines but also tons of other referral sources available at your disposal.
Republish, re-purpose, and distribute with the intention of helping your readers, engaging them and giving them real value. That's all it has to do really!

Hey u r correct that quality content is king of SEO. I too do this task and for writing articles i take the help of other articles of related topics from other article submission website like goarticle.com , ezine.com etc.. After getting idea about the topic it becomes very easy to write article by your own and in the article of about 450 words we must use keywords 4 times , as this is one of the rule of article writing.. your article must b unique means a copied one.

If content is "king of the SEO work strategy", why do you care about "the best strategy to use the content in SEO work?" You wrote great content, so according to you, your SEO work should be done, right?

If content is king, why does it need to go on a "high PR website"? You know how a website gets a high PR? By getting backlinks from high PR websites.

Many, many pages rank high in searches with very little content. Pages with just a picture and a paragraph of text sometimes rank high for a search. Because the site the page is on, and probably the page itself, has many great backlinks directed to it.

Cover a topic holistically, write about it in epic detail. Do NOT use keyword density, use term weight (TF-IDF) instead. Longer texts tend to rank better (i.e. higher). Use synonyms and cooccurring terms.
