Does noindexing/follow pass noindex page equivalent page rank/link juice?

Hi guys. I was wondering if you noindex/follow a page, does the links on the noindex/follow page receive the noindex/follow page's full page rank/link juice? What I mean is, if you have a link from your homepage to page 1 and from page 1 you have a link to page 2 and you noindex/follow page 1, does page 2 get the full value of page 1 page rank/link juice or does it still lose some of its value?

Example:

Home (page rank/link juice value 10)
|
|
Page 1 (noindex/follow should get page rank/link juice value 5, but is noindex/follow so it passes the value 5 to page 2?)
|
|
Page 2 (now does page 2 get all of page 1 page rank/link juice or just part of it like it would have if page one was still index/follow?)
#equivalent #follow #juice #link juice #noindex #noindexing or follow #page #page rank #pass #rank or link

I can't make heads or tails what you are saying.

A nofollow link passes no PR.

Any links on a page, nofollow or not, split the PR. So having one nofollow
and one without, will mean 50% passes. And so on....google had to
change this because of webmaster fools.

If you put noindex on a page, and the page is not indexed, there
is zero PR passed to any link on that page.

If the noindex page is indeed indexed, then the possibility of passing
PR is there, depending on google.

Google does not deindex noindex sites just because, and nobody
knows every link google counts. Your pages can get indexed any
number of ways, noindex or not.

You can't nofollow a page, but you can nofollow the links.

Yes, links pass their authority through noindexed pages.

No you do not get link juice in the typical 'link juice' manner which I believe you're talking about if you're talking about nofollow links, but yes they still do help for SEO.

The original poster did not mention anything about nofollow links. This has nothing to do with nofollow.

OP is confused. He mentions noindex/nofollow pages.

A page can have all links nofollow and be noindexed.

A page that google does not have indexed will be useless for
        passing link juice.

Any link on a page that has PR will be split among all links,
regardless of what those links are.

How can page 1 which is not indexed pass any "link juice" to
        page 2?

The whole scenario is just nonsense.

No he is not looking to noindex/nofollow a page. He just wants to noindex it. A page that is not indexed can still pass link juice, unless it was de-indexed due to penalization. If it is not indexed because of a noindex tag though, it will still provide link juice through its links.

Hi Paul, I never mentioned anything about nofollow in my post, but thank you for the input. And if you noindex a page that page's link still pass on PR.

Thank you, I already know that. What I want to know is how much PR does google pass through. I mean when noindexing a page. I've been researching a lot yesterday, but no one this far could tell me how much PR is passed and by how much, I mean:

If page 1 that is suppose to receive "10" PR from the homepage is now noindexed and it still passes PR to the links on that page(to page 2) does the "10" PR pass on directly to page 2 or does it still "lessen" to the PR before passing it on? Without accounting for the normal deterioration google adds when normally passing on PR.

Thank you for the input, but there's no nofollow.

I'm not confused and its not nonsense. As stated I never mentioned anything about nofollow and a page that is noindex still passes PR to the links on that page.

Thank you again for your input. I'm just in need of knowing the amount of PR that gets passed through as explained above. I am doing research on site architecture and how you can pass on PR to deeper pages on big websites with lots of pages and categories. I'm trying to figure out which of my ideas are viable and worth giving a shot for better SEO when designing a big sites architecture.

The amount of PR that gets passed along is the same that would be passed along if the page was indexed. Nothing changes with the noindex tag.
