Google Analytics Showing 0 Organic

I took over a client from a previous SEO guy (who was terrible...I spent a week just deleting duplicate content and poorly spun, unreadable trash).
Looking at their GA account, it shows that 2 days before the previous dude was fired and I was hired, the organic traffic dropped to 0. Despite all of my work for the last 3 months, it's remained at 0.
But Webmaster Tools is showing me that we're getting quite a lot of hits organically and when I search for the keywords it says we're getting hit for, sure enough we're ranking.
I've been doing SEO for 7 years now and never had this issue so I'm a bit baffled and I KNOW one of you brilliant minds can help me figure it out.
I'm wondering if maybe the old SEO guy is trolling me and set something in GA settings to hide organic traffic? Is that even possible?
