Sorry for the bad news, but those people were right. That site content is total trash. Your writer is awful.

If you ever want this site to do much of anything (get visitors, make sales, etc.), either you or someone else will have to re-write everything. Sorry for the bad news.

  • You definitely want to hire a write, with English as their native language. I would suggest someone from this forum with a good TRACK RECORD

Also, ALL of my blogs are 100% copied content. I get my articles from Goarticles and Ezine articles, even Yahoo voices.

I've been doing so, since 2011, on about 30 blogs, with 0 issues.

Google doesn't need your site to have original content, but it should be user friendly.

of course google doesnt need your site to have original content, people have no idea that duplicate content refers to on-site duplicate content. if duplicate content was blacklisted by google, all news websites would be deindexed

If you're trying to sell to the US market (which I presume you are with a .us domain) why would you outsource content from a non native English speaking writer? It kind of makes for uncomfortable reading for an actual English speaker.

Just because content passes Copyscape doesn't make it quality.

Google does not care one iota about copied, syndicated, stolen,
whatever content. Unless directed by a US law enforcement, or
other such entity. They do not have control of the web, nor do
            they care to.

They could give a rip that someone is using copied content,
whether it's the same site or not.

It's what the web has morphed into. Wake up, and smell yourself.

They are right; the content is total junk and extremely poorly written.

Unfortunately the previous commenters are correct. I don't even get why do you feel the need to defend this kind of content. It's clearly poorly written. The writer doesn't know when to use plurals, uses weird phrases and wrong words, and gets a lot of idioms wrong. And I'm saying this as a non-native speaker.

The content is also very clearly meant to just wrap your affiliate links to something that kind of looks like a legitimate site. Your site is pointless to an internet user, and simply should not rank in any case.

Language is not the only problem, and hiring a writer might not help. The intention of your site is to get your affiliate links to show in Google search, and there seems to be no real site there. They may consider it spam in any case. There's a difference between monetizing a site and what you're doing.

It's not about churn and burn. Your previous diagnosis about thin content seems more accurate. I'm not sure which part you consider to be "a real site". I, for one, haven't seen anything that isn't a thinly veiled placeholder for affiliate links.

The solution is fairly obvious if you think of it. Study the products, write compelling pieces, add maybe one affiliate link at the end of an article. Bring value to someone. Sounds pretty hard, doesn't it?

You can also try to BS your way around Google by trying to build a site that's less thin. It's likely that it won't rank too well either because of the topic, but maybe you'd avoid the penalty.

I took a look at your site and the use of the English language is not well written. Why don't you outsource your site to someone on Fiverr (if money is an issue) or Elance (they are higher quality and cost a little more) to get help to fix the site. Then you would be good to go.

    Wishing you the best.
