There are many tools on the market for keyword research.

Are there any tools out there you would buy again in a heartbeat?

I wonder if I will limit myself with just using tools like Keyword planner, webmaster tools, uber suggest..google trends.. etc.

Tools like Semrush, Longtailpro.. They look good. But are they worth the cost?

That's what I thought. Sure it's a little bit more work to use the free tools available for keyword research but there are no shortcuts to greatness right?

I also feel I am getting pulled in other directions.

Say I want to focus on SEO, now I am also looking at buzzsumo to figure out new subjects for my content to write about.

Then I realise, to get traffic faster to my blog, company or ecommerce shop, I might be smart to promote more on social media to get that traffic faster.

Which brings me to learning more about AdWords.

Is there such thing as a specialist in Digital marketing, or is Digital Marketing a specialism on itself?

There are many tools and tactics to learn. Where do we draw the line?
